    Hey all,
2 teachers have asked me about this and usually I send them to relevant circular but neither scenario seems to fit.

Teacher 1. Qualified 2000 did full year maternity leave (interview payslips etc) plus subbing in school, got pwt 2001. Dept has him on pt 19 scale (dept say no record of year2000-2001). Vol school

Teacher 2. 4 years casual subbing non qualified (she has all the pay slips lol) inc 2 maternity leaves, she reckons over 2800 hrs.

I think teacher 2 has no chance but can't find anything about maternity leave/casual for qualified teachers pre 2001

I suppose Teacher 1 should be following up why there is no record of them working in 2000-2001. I started in 2001 too and am also on 19.

Pro rata contracts were not counted for incremental purposes until 1st Sept 2001, so the maternity leave might not count for increment but might count for service.

Doubt teacher 2 will get any increments as it was pre 2001.
