Chrome download / twitter wont launch

HI all, I'm running Firefox latest version and I cant get Twitter to load. I went to try and download a different browser and i cant launch the google chrome download from its website... it wont even activate from the clickable link on their page? any sugestions on what might be happening? all other online activity seems…

Restart FF, test again

Restart computer, test again

Download installer on different computer, transfer over USB
