Can I report animal neglect without giving my name

    I am aware neglect of dogs in Dublin and want to report it. I would like to know if i have to give my name?
    I want to report it asap as I feel awful for the animals. Thanks

    You just provide your name / details but they don’t pass on your details

    Years back I knew a small animal rescue group through my own small efforts in that direction.

    So when I saw anything untoward, I would tell them and they would report it/sort it.

    It made it easier and later I was able to sort it myself in a different county.

    Far too much abuse happening . Please help? Thank you

    i was in the same situation a few months back , As someone else has said you just give your name and the details, it is done in confidentiality

    For Dublin you can report it using the DSPCA online you fill out a form and put in the house coordinates for them so they know exactly where the house is, put the details down and you can do it anon but even when you do give your name they cant / wont tell them especially with the new GDPR laws in place since May 25th. Chances are the DSPCA wont do alot but you can also report to a local rescue and see can they help or get the warden involved depending on the issue. If you want to PM me I can give you the name of rescues who could help.
