It looks very like the sort of thing Duncan used to do:

    I don't think it's a Duncan cab. I reckon it's a c&g cab.

Is it not a Longford cab? Pretty sure all c&g have integrated mudgaurds. Duncan have a distinctive rear window shape.

On second viewing, the roof had me thinking Lambourne, but Googling images for them has me doubting myself again :)

It reminds me of the Fritzmeier cabs that used be on the Ford's except it's the wrong colour

    Thanks for all the replies,
I dont think its a duncan as its not the right shape,
I dont think its a C and G either as the doors on them are squarer.
It does look a bit like a Longford cab but the door openings are not the right shape but it does have the aluminum around the windows. Did any Lambourne cabs have those window strips???
It has blue paint under the red so maybe was on a ford.

Here you go. It's a duncan.

***Actually l think it's a longford now too. The duncan were more sloped at back.

I think emaherx has it. It's a Longford cab.

I think emaherx has it. It's a Longford cab.

Most Lambourn cabs from that era had a canvas roof.

That cab is same shape frame as first one you put up. Yeah few bits different but lads have tipped them up and bodged them. Be hard to get one 100% original

Like the Duncan's there were probably a few variations over the years. All the Duncan's look the same until you try swapping parts like doors over and find the shape has changed slightly.

The thing that puts me off the most is the high roof profile it does make it look more like a Ford cab. But that might not be original either.

    Hi,

Jumping on this thread as there seems to be a few lads here that know their vintage tractors.

My dad has a 20 diesel and bought a mid mounted fingerbar mower for it a year ago.

Due to his ill health and my lack of expertise I am looking for someone to mount it for me.

front axel has to come off etc....

The tractor is properly restored so dont want to go ripping and not be able to finish it.

Would any of you know someone in the Leitrim/longford/roscommon area that would know what they are at.

I have a good machinery shed and most tool to do the job and i can do most the heavy lifting and labour but just need someone that knows what they are at.

    TIA

There's a chap near Mohill that mounted one for us if I'm thinking of the right mower. Same as the one on the right here?

Lady Haywire I think the reg plates on those two seem appropriate for you.
