HAP eligibility question - Dublin

    Hi,

I rent a flat in Dublin 1 and was wondering if I qualify for HAP. Landlord accepts it as some tenants in the house already have it. I am the only tenant of the flat.

But do I qualify earning roughly 42k per year?

I read the below but it does not seem to provide information about salary cap , above which HAP is not applicable:
    hap.ie/howhapworks/

    Can anyone help ?
    Thanks!

The income limit for a single individual in band 1 (DCC is band 1) is €35,000.00. To get hap you have to qualify for social housing and get on the housing list first as far as I know!
