    Hi,

What are the typicals duties of a reserve military policeman? Do they do general MP duties and so forth or are they treated the same as infantry in a certain aspect?

    Thanks for all information.

Sorry, but they are nothing more than glorified traffic cones. Unless you intend to join the Guards or PDF MPs, you will learn nothing useful and be hated by everyone.

I would assume that traffic control is only one of the duties (and not that it’s unimportant in and of itself). Normally MPs can also be found on prisoner of war corralling duties, and communications zone security.

Could never understand what attracted guys to becoming PA’s in the reserve.

Surely if you’re doing it part time as a “hobby” then the infantry/cav/Arty would be a lot more interesting.

Couldn’t think of a better term than “hobby”. No offence intended to our friends in the reserve.
