What do you think of rules regulations and laws?

    And the seriousness of them?

A banker, politician or priest could commit a crime and would get diplomatic immunity compared to the average person

Is it human nature not to obey rules?

When a orange light goes on a traffic light, two cars will go through when it's red? Is that right or wrong, I don't know...it happens so frequently that it is a given that all road users understand

"don't walk on the grass" "don't touch the paint"

Your alright in my book as long as you don't paint the grass.

Football pitches are lined with paint these days.

That probably belongs in a "things I've just found out" thread.

I use rules, laws and regulations as a general guide, and bend them to suit me on occasion.

The problem with rules is when an Irish mammy is questioned on why some rules exist she threateningly says

    Because I said so.

Nobody understands why a lot of the rules are there and then decide they are stupid.

Nah man, whitewash. Or in Robbie Fowlers mind, lovely tasty cocaine.

There's too many of them. We need fewer but with more severe penalties. Half the people already caught drunk driving get off on loopholes. What does the government do? Brings even more people into the net instead of nailing the ones already in it. Pathetic.

Rules and regulations are not laws...more guidelines so dont stress on breaking/ignoring them =)

Whitewash should be gone by now. Most organisations warn against using lime on pitches. It can cause burns.

Only found out last week when I spotted a groundsman tipping a bucket of paint into whatever they use.
