Hello, I am an employee working for an overseas company and being paid in USD currency. Given EU Mortgage Credit Directive came into effect on 21st March 2016, is there any particular issue getting a mortgage to buy a house in Ireland? I live and I am resident in Dublin, I pay my taxes here and the salary is very high (>130k$).

    Hi ilmig85,

Thanks for getting in touch with us on Boards.

Yes you can certainly apply for a mortgage with us for a property in Ireland. A number of factors will be taken into account when you apply for a mortgage. You can request a call back from one of our Mortgage Specialists who will be happy to go through this with you. Please see our website here to request the call back.

    Thanks,
    Sarah
