Security door bar for shed

Looking to get a security bar for the shed door to give a bit of extra security.

Any idea where I can buy them, in the Dublin area. Google is not giving me any Irish suppliers, only uk.

I think in Ireland you'd just go along to the local guy that does welding and get something made up. There are plenty of metal fabricators around.

That's a bolt, I'm looking for a bar that goes across the door, like the one my3cents posted.

Fair enough, But if its a timber shed Door, both would equally be peeled off easily. Maybe a false economy unless the bolted ends are secured to something more substantial on the interior than just the shed itself.

i.e metal flat bar or 4x2 stock.

agreed with listermine, that bar isnt worth its salt. it would be peeled off by hand, or even with a screwdriver

Shed is a double skin composite wood/plastic with a metal frame, so fairly solid to be honest, and the bar will go through the metal frame on either end.

Weakest point is currently the double doors, so bar across doors, secured on either end, and to the doors with brackets (4 in total)

It won't be impenetrable, but should be enough to deter an opportunistic thief.
