    Sorry if this is not the right thread but does anyone know if you need planning permission to renovate a derelict house near Tralee.

    Why don't you contact the Council Planning Department for the area the derelict house is in?

    I'm sure you will get all the information you need there.

    Planning required. Sight lines, waste treatment, housing need if in certain rural zones, council fees etc.
