Getting more confident but used to hate looking in the mirror. Now I don't mind it.

I'm fine. I don't own a mirror and never look down when I'm undressed.

Ignorance truly is bliss, at my age and state :)

That'd be on a logarithmic scale I take it?

I'm no oil painting and it doesn't worry me in the slightest

How do you expect me to know what that means? Those blessed with extremely good looks are consequently lacking in grey matter.

And yet you used consequently correctly there.

My BMI is exceptional. I’ve given up answering people how they too can have an exceptional BMI. I could spend an hour talking about training sleep calories denouncing all the fads and explaining how simple it is but they always just reply

yeah cycling is meant to be good too. I know a fella who lost 12 stone from cycling.

I just tell them I have a physical job now.

How can you subject a poor minimum wage girl to having to do that?

BMI means absolutely nothing. There are bodybuilders shredded to the bone who'd be seen as grossly overweight as they have so much muscle. Body fat percentage is always the better measure.

I'd be fairly body confident myself but it took a while. I'd be self conscious naturally and always saw myself as a bit of a toothpick and would be cautious over taking off my shirt as I was skinny. After I put a stop to the gambling I had to put my focus and energy into something else and the weights and the gym became the answer. It really does wonders for a lot of things.
