F connector compression fittings

Currently trying to put these on and with little success. The connector keeps slipping off. Another one broke the ring at the rear when compressing it. I've checked the guides, but I can't see why it is failing. The connector is for pf100 6.5mm cabling. The cabling is rg6 shotgun with diameter just shy of 7mm. Any…

Currently trying to put these on and with little success.

Problem resolved, the cable cutter was incorrectly set up.
