Aer Lingus money saver

So I had a voucher for Aer Lingus and I booked flights with it this week, €32 admin fee was taken off our flights which was a very nice surprise.

Vouchers have a €7 admin fee for whatever value you purchase but could be handy for anyone booking flights and wanted to save on the admin fee.

Bought 2 other flights this evening and bought a voucher and saved €25 on them after the €7 cost of voucher.

Just buy a voucher on their site and then put the voucher number into your booking and the admin fees disappear.

Would this be worthwhile on shorter/cheaper flights for instance Dublin to London?.

I'll try this tomorrow as I need to book flights. Will report back.

Do, it worked for me this evening anyway, flights came in at €360 and ended up costing €328plus the €7 cost of the voucher, happy with that saving. :)

Just to add the €32 admin charges were for 2 people, it’s €8 per flight they charge, the more flights you are booking the more the saving.

Nice, spend the difference on some nice fragrance on board.

Or get nicely toasted on booze of course :)

Worked for me on four return flights DUB-KERRY that I was booking today anyway.

So what denominations are vouchers sold in? Does voucher have to cover the total cost?

I am looking to travel from Cork to Faro: 2 adults & an infant, and have yet to buy tickets.

What would I save on flights?

How much of a voucher would I need to buy?

Do I have to partially pay by voucher?
