Hi I am in the process of applying for a first time mortgage. I recently (this week) got a pay rise of €5k. I get paid monthly so will have to provide my last 8 payslips. Can I put down my new salary as my salary, even though my payslips will have the smaller amount. My boss said he would provide a letter etc to show new salary is a permanent increase

    Hi Maz2016,

Thanks for getting in touch with us on Boards.

Yes we would advise you to include your current salary as it is now. Your Mortgage specialist will provide you with a salary certificate with your application pack which your employer will fill in.

    Thanks,
    Sarah
