Hi we have booked a stag for Belfast of march next year (2019) and its looking like we will have numbers of between 45-50 lads

I know a big number, looks like number will be at least 40, just a group of lads that would like a few drinks and no messing and was wondering is there a venue that would cater for a large group on the Saturday night for a group like this

I know if we just arrive at a place the bouncers would have an issue.
We are staying in the Maldron beside the Europa hotel so somewhere close to this area would be a help, we are getting a bus up from the midlands on the Friday night, if you could assist in any way?

    Thank you.

Such a large group will have problems.

Ring places and ask. If you have an agreement with a few places you won't have much problems getting in.

A lot of the best spots (Duke of york, Spaniard) are tight wee bars - not a hope of getting 40 lads in easy.

Best bets in the city centre are the Dirty Onion or the Harp Bar, both have plenty of space (relatively speaking) and good craic.

Moving a bit out of town, Lavery's might be a good shout, but the area can get a bit sketchy late on.

Good idea to ring ahead as mentioned above

The Five Points should be able to cater for a crowd that size...maybe?

Probably with a group that size your best bet will be to try book out an area of a bar for yourselves. If you're just looking for a few drinks maybe the Harp Bar upstairs (they have a newly opened extension which is fantastic looking) in the Cathedral Quarter. You could also try Sweet Afton which is literally across the road from the Maldron. I think they have places you can book. They also have a club around the corner called Chinawhite. McHughs might also allow you to book out a space. Maybe also Revolucion de Cuba but I wouldn't recommend the place, their drink prices are extortionate.

If you were looking for clubs you'd almost 100% have to pre-book into them. The bouncers would have a heart attack if 40 men walked up together looking to get in somewhere.
