How do I reconnect to water network. I bought a house that has been cut off with 2 years.
It's in an estate and the estate is under Council care.

Doesn't help really. It asks me for a map and planning reference number. Sure the house is there with 20 years. what do you need them for.

Will the address not do. It's already connected to the mains. Just needs to be turned on.

    Hi fitzyunited,

    Thanks for your reply.

Have you tried to turn the water supply back on at the Outside Stop Valve (OSV)? If the supply is turned off, it can be turned back on by rotating the OSV in an anti-clockwise direction.

    Kind regards,
    Amy

I will try that. I don't know what it is or looks like but sure I'll go for it anyway.
    Google probably be more helpful.

    Hi fitzyunited,

The OSV is located within the Boundary Box which should be located on the footpath outside your property. This should look like a black circular lid.

You can open the lid with a flat headed implement such as a screwdriver. Once you open this, the OSV is inside which you can rotate anti-clockwise to turn your supply back on.

    Thanks,
    Amy
