Suggest a gift

Hey all,

First time poster on here.

I was thinking of getting a present for my Dad that is related to trains or railway networks etc....

He has always had an interest in this area and was hoping to find him something he might appreciate.

Books are always a good option but perhaps there are other things you might recommend.

Thanks for the idea but I think my Mam would kill me if I got him one. Too much clutter for her to handle if I went down that road.

Don't order from the RPSI shop as they ship from the North, which means UK postage rates. Most of what they sell can be gotten in fairly easily in by the likes of a local store or the likes of Eason's or Dubray.

Wow! What a big spend! I would have suggested the ITG rolling stock and loco little book or the older one from the CIE lads Oliver and whoever.:D
