Are Argos going by the actual height of the bike and not by the frame size?
I assume you mean Smyths, since that's what you've linked to.

They are quoting wheel size, not frame size.

Nobody uses height of the bike.

Frame sizes have changed because they are now such different shapes. I'm 1 metre 55 (around five feet) and need a low standover (the height where your crotch clears the crossbar). It's mad confusing. Best thing is to go and look. And give a heft of the bike too, since they don't quote weights either.
