I have been working as a contract designer since I loved back to Ireland at Christmas, started around late January. It was planned as a stop gap until a FT position came up.

It picked up a lot since then and I have kept it up since. I have been making good money and am very aware that I will be owing taxes etc on this.

For me though (having lived abroad for a number of years), I literally have no idea what I have to do.

Do I register a company name? Am I already too late to be doing that and the money I have earned will be taxed incredibly high? I have a lot of these questions.

I haven't spent it all either, so whatever I owe I have etc.

I have tried to read about this online but have found it a bit confusing, will probably go into the tax office to get proper info on this because the last thing I want to do is to not have this all above board.

The service I have been providing is Design Services (web, apps, art direction etc).

I appreciate any tips or help anyone has.

    Cheers lads!
