    Hi all
im painting our new build at the minute.
there are hundreds of small nail holes left by the carpenter in the skirting, door trims etc.
so far i've been using a generic filler/ putty knife, sanding when dry.
its grand but its going to take until xmas- there are sooo many holes.
can anyone suggest a quicker method?
    Thanks

    General wood filler is fine
Don't use a dark colour or it will take longer to paint.

I'm skirting a house at the min. I'm on.my third box of nails . There are 2500 in a box.

Really don't think you need that many nails..

Unless your home is a hotel or something

Yes but if your careful and tidy putting it on you will only have to give it a very light sand

Yes. It adds up very fast. 2 every foot or so is 30 in a length.
10 doors architrave could be 800.

Toutpret interior filler will be easier and cheaper to apply than wood filler. It also doesn't flash or grin through the topcoats so there is no need of spot priming. Any proper paint shop will stock it.

Use your thumb it's faster than putty knife.
You'll feel/sense the finish so less sanding.
