    Hi,
I was about to sign up for a seller account on Amazon just to sell a few books and it's €30 per month ..

Any way just to sell some books and let them take a commision and I post them rather then pay them ridicolous flat rates to sell maybe 10€ worth of books ??

Hi OP, I've been looking into this for myself did you manage to sell any books through Amazon, I am wondering about this as well if it is convenient to use or did you try something else?

Only other options are selling on other sites like done deal or ebay, adverts.ie or a gumtree/facebook page buy and sell that might be local. Car boot sale if one is nearby or taking them to a charity shop.

Chapters on Parnell Street in Dublin will buy second hand books. They can be a bit picky and are unlikely to want best-sellers. They'll buy most fantasy and science fiction.

They also pay very, very, very little. If you have specialist books a second hand dealer that also sells online is a better idea.

I am in the Munster region so wouldn't likely get to Dublin any time soon. Thanks for the heads up. I've heard Vibes and Scribes do it in Cork? I am not sure of any book shop places that take them in Limerick/Kerry other than charity shops. Would the TK Maxx Enable Ireland charity collection take books?

Used to be Uneeda bookshop at the top of Oliver Plunkeet St in Cork. You probably won’t get much. Last time I had some books I donated them to the local charity shop, and they were thrilled to get them.

They're clothes only. Most charity shops will take them

I've actually been in Chapters today and last Saturday and I'd say they could do with not buying any books at all for a while. If anyone remembers how messy the second hand section in the old store was - its as bad again now. With about 5x the floor area!
