Hi all. Converting my Caad from 8spd chorus/mirage and short of shifters and brakes. Budget is low prob max €50 per shifter set / brakeset (or trade?). Anybody got anything going? Thanks in advance. Tony.

I switched to Sram 11 speed earlier in the year.
I have a pair of Sram Force 10 speed shifters, that are surplus to requirements.
They are well used. There is a bit of play in the levers and are a bit noisy, but as far as I remember, they work OK.
If you think, they might be of use to you, you are welcome to them, free of charge.
I'm in Drogheda. I won't post, but I'll be in Dublin on Monday, on my annual visit.
