Hi, just had a short roadway put in, agreed at outset it would be finished with 804 down. I would have expected it to be rolled to compact it all - would this be normal?

If it’s a roadway animals will be walking along, then a finish with a couple of inches quarry dust would be better. Rolled in of course. Less lameness problems.

would many spray tar on it and chip it?
