I’m shooting express power red 27g 7.5 shot. They cost me €199 per 1000 and I won’t shoot anything else. My logic is if I can hit 45 out of 50 then my gun, chokes and cartridges are right it’s me that’s at fault for missing 5. I have shot beside lads shooting ammo costing €265 per 1000 and can’t see much difference to what I’m shooting

I shoot hull pro ones €250 a 1000 find them a very good cartridge to be honest also I see eley dtl gold 240/1000 in Knocknagoshel shooting grounds also he had a cartridge Called bornaghi 71/4 28g lovely cartridge great hits and very smooth but at nearly €70 a slab it’s too expensive to be honest.

Redmills in Kilkenny, first time there today I’d recommend them to anyone. Good prices too

Any body know who is the stockist of gamebore shells in Ireland? A lad near us used to stock them but he's closed now, their black gold and white gold were excellent shells
