Multi Room TV

    Hello,

I'm moving house in the next few weeks and looking to find the best multi room package. I'm looking for a bit of advice.

The new house, which is a new build, has a TV point in the sitting room and one in the main bedroom. There is a blank plate in the TV room indicating that it is wired to that point. The other bedrooms upstairs do not have a TV point or a blank plate, indicating they are not pre-wired.

What i'm looking for is TV in 5 rooms, 2 downs stairs and three upstairs.

Virgin media have said that multi room is only available in 4 rooms, and that a coax point is needed in all rooms. They can't explain to me how they would wire the rooms with no TV points. I don't think they have a wireless option.

Vodafone TV have a wireless option allow an extra 3 boxes in addition to the main one.

Can anyone advise which would be best so as to have TV in 5 rooms.

    Thanks.

Sky Q multiroom boxes are wireless.

You can get eir or Vodafone iptv and use wireless/homeplugs.

Not sure or either limits on amount of boxes.

If you were a diy tech type you could do a HTPC distribution via wireless or homeplugs.

If you require only Saorview and FTA satellite then you can do it subscription free using free software and low cost hardware.
