Hi... A friend of mine has recently come out to me as bisexual.. I am the first person she has told and she has not had an encounter with a woman yet, but has had these feelings since the age of 5.

I wanted to ask if you would be able to recommend any places in Dublin where she may be able to meet some women.

I myself am a crossdresser which is why she came out to me, and the only places that come to mind are The George and The Front Lounge...

When we go out I may or may not dress up, as I really want it to be about her, so we will consider going anywhere and everywhere...

Or maybe you may be able to suggest a dating website that she might meet someone on.

All suggestions are welcome and thanks in advance

This question comes up a lot.

I suggest joining groups like LGBT Twenties Thirties Women (facebook/meetup.com) or Running Amach (I think only Meetup.com, might be wrong). They're organised online but have events and meetups all over the country.

Also there is a group called Bi Ireland which you can find easily by googling. They host meetups all around the country too.

Friends of mine have had success via Tinder but if she's not out I'd steer clear because algorithms can get messed up and because it works using social media profiles and telling you friends you have in common with people you match with she could get outed by accident.

Check out events that will be happening for the various Prides across the country. There will be things like talks as well as club events, which might suit her also.
