Denture causing jaw indentation

I have a front lower denture to replace four missing teeth but its making indentations in my jaw line that is becoming more pronounced over time. I asked my dentist at the time about it but he didn’t have a solution. A family member has a total lower denture plate (replacing all lower teeth) and doesn’t have this problem. It seems a bit extreme to remove the remaining teeth to solve the problem. Is it possible that a better fitting denture or maybe implants would resolve the problem Thanks in advance

Your first instinct is likely correct; it would be extreme to extract all the remaining teeth if they are otherwise healthy& of good prognosis.
Make an appointment with another dentist for a 2nd opinion.
