    Anyone having issues with NowTV???
I have been told that my account has been accidentally reassigned as a UK account and now cannot work in Ireland !!!! NowTV continue to deduct monthly payments and I cannot cancel the service since it will not let me log on since I am not in the UK. A complete farce. If this post does not yield result it seems like Joe Duffy is my only option.

Cancel your service online with ease & set up a new account with a password.

The NowTV service will not allow me to log on in order to cancel the service.

What did they say on the Chat or e-mail contact services when you raised this matter with them?

What did they say on the Chat or e-mail contact services when you raised this matter with them?

They said that my account was registered as a U.K. Account and would not work in Ireland. They also said they had no responsibility for it since it was a U.K. Account. Despite the fact the account was set up in Ireland on a box bought at Harvey Norman Swords in 2014 !!! I believe there has been some kind of internal organisational error which has caused our account to be assigned as in the UK, but I cannot find a means to fix it, and the the chat support service said they did not know how to fix it either !!!

I would write them a letter outlining what they have done and how it has resulted in withdrawal of service to you while they continue to deduct monies.
I would give them 7 working days from the date of the letter to rectify the account and reimburse you for lost service. Failing that I would inform them that I will stop all payments and institute proceedings to recover losses.

Of course you could always use a proxy or VPN to access the UK service, as that is clearly what they want you to do .....

EDIT: None of the above is meant to be advice, legal or otherwise, only an explanation of what I might do in similar circumstances.

Just to maybe ask posters to refrain from giving anything that might be construed as legal advice here.

And to the OP: I really think, and I cannot emphasise this enough, that the nature of your issue is such that you are best addressing it directly with Sky/Now TV.

Can you not just stop the payments with your bank and then set up a roi account?

Given what has emerged in the course of the thread I think I’ve no option but to close. I think it’s now pretty obvious why the OP has a problem,

OP, you need to deal with Sky/Now TV directly.

Everyone else - there is no discussing circumventing regional restrictions
