Some type of chaffer beetle?

Hi, checking to see if someone could confirm my suspicion that this is some kind of chaffer beetle. Hi, checking to see if someone could confirm my suspicion that this is some kind of chaffer beetle.

Last week there were thousands of them hovering around the garden pairing off, some have taken a liking to my wisteria and are devouring the leaves.

thanks, had been looking too much at the wrong pics but assumed it was some kind of chaffer given the time of year. so now i have two types of these critters to blame for wrecking my lawn.
