If I switch away from Eir, how long would I need to be with another (phone) network before I could switch back to Eir and be treated as a new customer?

    Hi KingCong,

Once your account with eir has been ceased, you would be considered a new customer when you return as you would be entering a new contract.

    Thanks,

    Sarah

Thanks Sarah, does this also apply if not signing up for a contract and going on a sim only plan?

Yes if you are signing up as a new customer or porting your number from another network.

    Thanks,

    Sarah
