Robot Vacuum Cleaners

    Hello all,

Apologies if this is the wrong forum. I can't make my mind up from mixed reviews online about which Robot Vacuum Cleaner I'd like to buy. My requirements are:

    1. It has to be small. I live in a 45sqm apartment.
    2. For a number of different reasons (allergies etc.) the space needs to be cleaned quite regularly - more than I have energy to do once I come home from work.
    3. I don't want to spend crazy money but I am happy to fork out 200e or stretch to 300e. My worst fear is the technology isn't quite there yet and to get anything good I need to fork out upwards of 500euro plus. :(
    4. Reviews for all models online vary drastically so I really can't make any decisions.

Appreciate any advice you can offer in advance,

    K

    Have you read this thread?
A little bit more money will get you a decent one. Could be lucky with sales etc... Keep your eye on that thread - if there's one on sale the guys there often mention it.
    Edit: forgot the link. https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057688419

Your apartment is tiny, why would you not just vacuum it yourself with a good quality cleaner which you'll buy probably cheaper than a robot?

Not as if its a big job.

But if you are serious about a robot, maybe this would be worth a punt with Tesco Direct closing down?

I have one, and while it cleans the floor, not without issues

Issues, cleaner tends to get stuck on bases of kitchen island stools, wont be an issue if you dont have

the dirt container is small, fills up quickly

sometimes get stuck crossing door thresholds

    I think a decent Dyson cordless dc6 , dc7 etc , would be a better buy
