Easytrip Tag Issue

Got a penalty notice for m50 toll, have a tag with EasyTrip. When I contacted them they said my account was possibly "Low Balance" when it went through and direct debit hadnt been processed. Contacted m50 toll and paid over phone, but now I think about it this seems pretty shoddy business practice, if my balance was zero…

Contacted m50 toll and paid over phone, but now I think about it this seems pretty shoddy business practice, if my balance was zero then fair enough but if I had 10e in my easytrip account that they had been pre-paid then it seems wrong they wouldn't have taken the 1.90 out of that.
