They seem to take up to -20c outside and then you can get covers, but it will also be under a parasol with limited wind.

    Thanks.

Can't say I have, but if I were doing it I'd put a power socket outside and buy a projector/put up a screen. Probably not as handy if you plan on using it every day though.

Was about to say the same thing.

I'd imagine a Weatherproof TV is very specialist and expensive. You could get a great bright projector and screen for peanuts in comparison I'd imagine with the bonus that the projector and screen can be used for an indoor Home Cinema too. Just needing to run a temporary extension cable outside when setting the PJ up under the parasol and the audio outputs into a small stereo or something.

Presume this is for the world cup.

Heres a fantastically bright Full HD Epson PJ for €560.

I've a slightly more expensive 3D PJ version that has a 2200 lumen bulb compared to the PJ I linked which has a 3300 lumen bulb but even mine is fantastic for sports indoors when I close the venetian blinds so there is no direct light shining on the magnolia wall I use for a 'screen'. Outdoors under a Parasol so no direct light on the screen, evening matches, super bright PJ and you'll have a mind blowing alfresco big screen experience

By an 8ft x 4ft sheet of plywood from the DIY Store and a tin of matt white paint and you are Golden for a fantastic outdoor setup.

If its temporary id say it would be fine. Damp weather will get to it eventually i reckon.
