Looking for a couple of musicians (or one) to play at party

    Hi there. I'm having a family celebration at my home (in Blessington Co Wicklow) on September 29 and we are looking to book one or two musicians to provide some entertainment on the afternoon/night. There'll be a few Aussie guests so we'd like a few Irish ballads thrown in. We adore 80's music but enjoy pretty much anything one can sing or dance to! I'm not necessarily looking for polished bands or anything, just some decent music to liven the party up. Where exactly can I look to find musicians? I was hoping there'd be a 'craigslist' type website advertising musicians for hire but can't seem to find anything?! I've never booked live music for a private party in Ireland, so am wondering what price I'd be looking at paying? (Obviously prices vary according to experience/travel etc) Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated! TIA
