    Hi,
Myself and the GF are popping over to Portugal in early October for 7 days. The plan is to rent a car at Lisbon, meander down to faro and fly home. Any nice spots in between that boardsies would recommend? We have the car so out of the way is fine and I'm not a big city guy.
    Cheers,
    Fizzy!

Cascais west of Lisbon, just 20 minutes, half an hour is very nice. Lagos then down south also very nice.

Alcácer do Sal is a very nice stop to have coffee on the waterfront. I like to walk across the bridge a enjoy the calm this provides.
Sines is on the sea front and offers a fort, old town and nice views over the Atlantic.

Follow the coastal road down from Sines and stop off at the little towns and villages. There are also many spots of natural beauty.
