I was wondering what a Christians attitude (I am not a Christian) would be towards the funeral mass lenght of Mr Hennessy.. According to the Irish Times it lasted less than 15 minutes and was mostly delivered towards his family.. While not trying to take away from the gravity of the crime he committed surely as a human being he deserved a full funeral mass...

Although one of the newspapers describes it as a "funeral mass", it's not clear that it was a mass, or even a religious service of any kind.

It's entirely up to his family to decide what kind of funeral he should have. There's no reason to think the funeral service was anything other than what they wanted.
