I know I need a passport and a bank statement of a previous account. Or can I bring my I'D and a 100 euro note? Thanks

It's pretty clear cut, and will be the same for any bank - proof of address (bank statement, utility bill, revenue letter, insurance documents, etc etc) and proof of ID (passport, drivers licence, EU identity card); all detailed here
