Overreacting? Something that really bugs me

Maybe I’m overreacting but this has really bugged me for ages, a gay guy I know posts on Instagram quite a lot, every post is #gay #gayguy etc. this guy is also all for equal rights gay marriage etc. I don’t go posting #straight etc.

It just bugs me that that they want equal rights etc and not to be looked at differently but then they’re branding themselves with these kind of hashtags etc on social media.

Nothing against gay people at all by the way, just think it’s hypocritical

They should really include an option on social media platforms for not following people that annoy you. It's such a glaring design anomaly.

If you're looking for 'straight rights' I'm sure you could hashtag the same way. Why don't you try it?

Perhaps you could consider taking the option to look at something else, and try move on with your life.

Maybe if gay people feel they don't have some rights they should try to bring their arguments to people's attention.

They could try using hashtags...
