Wanting to concrete an area of the yard for a handling unit, 20 ft x 45 ft, unsure of the depth, how much would I be looking at spending?

8.5 metres of concrete at €80 plus vat if You go 4 inches deep.

If the base is right and the concrete is right and all is laid right it should be ok, but it’s safer put in 5” with fiber to eliminate some of the rights that won’t be right.

12.74 meters @ 6" with the extra cost of concrete only €336 over 4" it would be a safer bet. You'd want steel as well and if you have to get someone to lay it the cost will increase significantly.

    Why would you need steel?

If there is going to be machinery on it steel would be needed to reinforce the concrete

You can get reinforcing steel mesh. Something like 6ft by 12ft. Just keep it up from the bottom about 30mm. A few stones or better get a packet of Daisies/spacers. This is in place before pouring any concrete.
Any builder supplier will stock above.
NB;Do not place the steel half way up the concrete. That is useless.

Also what would it cost to shutter or precast a wall 45ft long?

Any wall, is a whole different ball game. It needs to be meshed with steel to the floor if its any height. Need a pro on site with you.

Will be done by professionals, just looking at costs at the minute.

An 8ft high by 45ft long, by 9 inch wide , will take 10cu yds of concrete. That will the least of your costs. Impossible to guess. Getting someone onsite to do it might be your biggest problem. Shuttering on and off site for one little job.

Put together what you need done and get the job priced up in full, only way to find out. Go to a few different lads if you can. It's the cost of labour will be the biggest variable

Great price. Haven't bought any here this while but thought it was well dearer than that.
