Topping up to get monthly data

My monthly all you can eat data allowance that I got on Three for topping up by €20 expires today.

If I top up by another €20 today does my next period start from today or tomorrow (once my current period ends).

I.e. do they stack, or do I lose a day?

    Lose a day

Turn off data before midnight and top up after midnight

Maybe someone who knows can confirm but AFAIK a scheduled (auto) top up also costs a day of use because the auto top up is every 28 days whereas the plan runs to the 29th day.

Ah ok thanks. My phone is only internet access I have this weekend so I won't be able to top up after midnight without incurring the daily rate fee.

So best I top up today.

You can top up without data, see under "text" and "call" on this page http://www.three.ie/plans/phone/prepay/how-to-top-up/

Interesting, is the call method free?

It mentions that calling 1744 is free from any three number
