Car was original Irish car. Exported abroad last year and registered abroad (within EU). Vrt refund not claimed.

Now car is back in Ireland.

Does anyone know what's the procedure to have it registered again?
Do you just book vrt appointment like for any other car? Attend it and get the old reg number there without paying anything.
Then motortax as with first taxing a vehicle after which you get logbook in the post?
Nct I believe now can be rewritten from foreign test certificate.

    Anyone have any experience.
