Getting some work done on the house including a new boiler.

    Plumber has recommended a 35kw combi boiler for a 140 sq.m house.

Its a dormer bungalo which currently has 2 electric showers and one bath.

We are looking to have a feed two two showers and 3 sinks. One shower is at first floor.

    Any thoughts/views on this?

Ask your plumber how much of that he expects the combi to be capable of supplying simultaneously.

Please follow site and charter rules. "Resistance is futile"

He's been out to survey and this is what he suggested. As its not the norm just wondering if its a good fit for us.

There are a lot more knowledgeable lads on here and hopefully they will reply. I would still ask him that direct question. Has he matched the combi output to potential demand or is he just guessing?

    Ask him the question.

Do you know how many calls you will have for hot water at any one time? Maybe 2 showers, a hot tap, etc.
