Dog had few accidents in house, plus drinking a bit more

Basically over the last few days my three year old dog had a few accidents around the house, he peed on the floor twice and another on the bed.

He's well trained, he'd always let you know when he needs to go outside so this is very unusual, so much so that we thought the first wee was the radiator leaking.

I actually caught him doing it the second time, he didn't cock his leg or anything, just stood on all fours and peed away, a huge amount.

I also noticed yesterday out the back he was drinking a lot of water.

He seems okay and no other signs of illness but I was wondering is this worth a vet visit?

could be a UTI or diabetes etc vet check to make sure...
bring fresh urine sample with you!

I would definitely arrange a vet visit. As was suggested a sample would be great. Using a ladle or something similar to get a sample might be and option?
