    The kit that VW supply is going to be an LUK part anyway. No sense in buying it from VW for a car of that age.

    Most genuine VW clutch kits are LUK and occasionally Sachs.

    With some items it makes sense to go main dealer, but this part into this car, it definitely doesn't.
