2008 Swift ABS unit leaking fluid

We have a 2008 Suzuki Swift with very low miles (< 70k km) that started leaking brake fluid. Got it diagnosed today to be the ABS unit which is apparently a common problem on these. Mechanic said they need programming using specialist equipment, which he couldn't do.

Main dealer quoted 1400 euro for the job.

Any alternatives? The car itself is probably only worth that with the issue.

Any recommendations for mechanics around Galway that would source a reconditioned ABS unit, fit it and 'program' it?

    Thanks.

A Friend of mine is currently in a similar issue with a 2008 Swift Sport
    Faulty abs unit
    http://www.ecutesting.com/
He has just sent it to the link above
    165GBP with life time warranty
Got a local mechanic to remove which apparently wasn’t a massive job
AFAIK the Suzuki main dealers also get them reconditioned
Might be worth a e mail to above and tell them your problem and see if they can assist
    Hope You get sorted ðŸ‘

These guys are saying the design of the part that fails is faulty and the brake pressure sensor will keep failing, if replacing with like-for-like parts

    http://www.sinspeed.co.uk/suzuki-common-abs-pump-esp-fault-brake-pressure-sensor-switch-failure/

I sent them an enquiry about price, there seems to only be 1 Irish dealer on their map - in Wexford.
