    A trade war....

It's really ramping up now. It's odd how only 2 or so years ago we had the possibility of TTIP now it's even worse.

It will definitely cause a market crash if it happens so what US products will you miss most.

I think clothes will annoy me most.
Not really sure what else comes from the US.

Disclaimer: I am definitely not a bureaucrat trying to figure out what to ban :)

This is what happens when you put a weapons grade moron in the White House.

It is what it is. The EU will put in place retaliation measures.

I guess if it applied to intellectual property and art then films are ****ed.

The US doesn't seem to manufacture much in the way of consumer products but I reckon a lot of specialised equipment comes from there

The US making clothes! It's all made in Mexico or Asia.

The reason he's introduced the tarrifs is because we don't buy US made products. So it won't affect us.

The Americans suck in far more than they export, what does the USA export that actually matters?

They export bugger all that we need, maybe some specialised drugs but that is it

Indeed, on orange juice, Harley motorbikes and Jack Daniels. All products from the key states that effectively decide who the next US president will be...

The hard drinking european biker must feel a bit hard done by.
It's a big issue because it hits our German over lords directly. If there was a tarriff on Italian olives would we all be in a tizzy?
If your unemployed in the American rust belt then surely this is the best news in years. Why are they importing steel and their own mills and workers lying idle? Trump got votes for promising to sort this out

Because it seems that their own steel workers can't compete with European, Japanese or Canadian steel workers, who Trump has imposed tarrifs on.

The tarrifs don't 'sort this out'.

American steel is shyte by all accounts. Come to think of it, leaving aside some software and microchips, American consumer products are dreadful. Detroit autos, heaps; food ingredients, disgusting; appliances, ever used a Magnavox or Westinghouse anything??

Bourbon and bikes. God bless America.

    Maybe just the bourbon.

The bikes are overrated noisy antiques.

China is flexing it's economic muscles and the US is going "shields up", which means everyone is trying to do a deal with the EU instead. The US is triggering reactions from China, the EU and their NAFTA partners Canada and Mexico, and others.

And the UK is completely on it's own, needing to import food and energy with zero trade deals, in less than 300 days.

China was leaning on Soya and other products from states that switched to Trump.

Careful now, that big US company Monsanto owns right to pretty much every seed on the planet, and if it doesn't it's creating strains to wipe the other strains out.

The Americans are an awful bunch of lads and a have great ideas at the same time.
