    Hi All,

has anyone ever dealt with these guys? I am going to buy a decent watch and the omega moonwatch is looking mighty tempting. coming in at around 3k. I like the speedmaster racing, as well as the tag aqua racer.

any advice on the site and the 3 I've narrowed it down to?

    also like the seamaster 300.

As far as advice on the watch choice goes, they're pretty different so if you aren't worried about resale value buy the one you like the most. I went for a Seamaster Professional 300 as my first "good" watch because I thought it more versatile than a Speedie (which is next on the list) :-)

If you search Montredo on Boards you will find my post from last year when I sourced a Breitling Superocean for a friend. Montredo beat Weir's price by €900 and the watch came with full Breitling warranty.

Montredo source their watches through main dealers across Europe.

Montredo are excellent grey market dealers to purchase a piece from. I can say they are safer to deal with than Chrono24 which can be more risky for used pieces. Another great dealer is Watchfinder.co.uk, some great savings on used Omega, Rolex, Tudor pieces.

I was looking at a Omega planet ocean 600m 39.5mm and it's alot cheaper there.

Would there be any possible issues buying from them?

None whatsoever, as the supplying dealer they will be getting that piece from will be an Omega AD within the EU. The warranty card will come stamped by them, then name and dated with your name and purchase date by Montredo themselves. This will be accepted by Omega service centre in due course, same as buying from an Omega AD in Ireland etc. TGV (Urban Gentry) on Youtube has a posted a recent video called 5 biggest regrets. In it he talks about a problem he had with a Breitling he bought from a grey dealer (they didn't honour the warranty and he had to pay cash for a repair). But with Montredo buying an Omega, Tudor, Rolex, piece etc incurs no such problems. The grey dealer that caused problems for TGV was Jomashop. Also the Montredo pieces are all shipped from Berlin so no Irish customs charges to worry about as its within the EU.
Also consider pre-owned Omega pieces as the prices are very keen on Watchfinder.co.uk.
