    Hi,

Have a family member coming to Ireland next week from the US and they will be here for a few weeks. I've been looking into getting a single use PAYG sim to use while they are here. Is this something you can get? Or do you have to jump through hoops to get a new number?

    Cheers. B

It's very straightforward. Eir will post a free SIM with a new number to any Irish Postal address. When your family member arrives, just choose a plan and top-up online.

Vodafone charge €10 for a SIM unless you are porting an existing number to them.
