A heads up for the Drogheda, East and South Meath areas, the pipe supplying water to the treatment works at Drogheda has failed again, very close to the location of the failure 12 months ago that resulted in no supply for much of the area for most of a week.

Irish Water are "hopeful" that a repair won't take as long this time, but I have to question their optimism, given the problems that delayed the repair last time.

Hopefully, it won't take 2 days to get tankers moving to resupply the reservoirs in the areas affected, and a temporary feed into the treatment works will be possible more quickly this time.

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁
