What type of windows is people putting in new builds. Im still not sure whether to go double or triple. I dont mind paying the extra for triple.
There will be 16 windows and 3 double doors.
Thanks for any advice in advance

Triple is best and would highly recommend triple over double. Better sound reduction and better thermal wise

It's not that simple. You won't notice the difference in sound reduction between 'standard' double-glazing and 'standard' triple-glazing.

As far as I'm aware in order for triple glazing to effective for sound reduction the centre pane has to be a different thickness to the other 2.
If it's not you might as well get double glazed windows..

Triple is old school. Try some dynamic glass :)

What's the transmittance of an untinted electrochromic window compared to normal triple?

I'm seeing 62% for Sage and I think that's double glazed.

Conventional triple glazed might be 72%, which is 16% more visible light coming through. In winter that's got to be noticeable, surely? You'd want big windows.
